What your day looks like
Our private Reykjavik walking tour is your introduction to Reykjavik. It will help you get your bearings and make the most of your stay in Iceland. If you have special requests just send us a line and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes. Walk with a Viking – your crash course in everything Icelandic. Our family-friendly tour brings the history of Iceland to life with interesting stories and Icelandic mythology. We’ll visit all of the famous landmarks, in the city center such as Hallgrímskirkja Church (we’ll teach you how to pronounce that). But, we’ll also share hidden, local spots with you like our visit to an Elf house. things you’d for sure miss if you didn’t know what to look for. We want you to feel the unique, friendly atmosphere of our quirky little city, not just to see the most popular tourist attractions. We’ll even have a small lesson on the Icelandic language so you can not only walk with a Viking but talk like one too. We’ll be showing you our favorite places to eat, drink and visit (we also have an intimate knowledge of happy hour deals that we’re happy to share). The tour lasts approximately 2 - 2.5 hours and it's an easy walk between the places we visit.

What a great experience! We hit the ground running on our five day trip to Reykjavik with the private Walk With A Viking Tour. Our guide gave us extensive knowledge of Reykjavik's history up to present time. He also gave us a great lay of the land so that we were easily able to navigate the city during the remainder of our stay. I'd highly recommend this tour to any first time visitor to Reykjavik.
