What travelers are saying
My clients were very satisfied. They enjoyed the food and the guide. They did not have the rye ice cream for dessert that they heard about from other tours and would have liked that.
Great time! OUr guise was wonderful and the food and drinks were also!
We really enjoyed having Robyn. She gave us a glimpse of Reykjavik and Iceland that we wouldn't have otherwise had.
The Icelandic Food Tour gave us a new, dear friend in our tour guide Stefan. I didn't realize it was a private tour until it started, but Stefan treated us like family and his brilliant gift for storytelling helped us understand Icelandic history, literature, and culture through food. He even treated us to some extra food and drinks, such as a traditional Icelandic rhubarb biscuit, said to bring a happily married life to those who eat it (we made sure to eat the whole thing!). And the pictures they sent were such a nice touch!
Had an enjoyable time. The food was very good. Had a personal guide, Barney. He was very knowledgeable and interesting.
Hlif is a wonderful tour guide - fun, interesting and full of knowledge! This was my second tour with her and I hope to tour with her again in the future!
Great sampling of food with generous portions.
