ATV - Express Tour with DC3 Plane Wreck Visit
What your day looks like
ATV/Quad biking is a great way to explore the raw black sandy beaches on the south coast. The adventure begins at our base where we get to know the ATV’s/Quad’s and gear up. After we have gone through the safety instructions, we start the drive, through small rivers and streams, to the sandy beach which derives from the dormant volcano Katla. After a fun ride on the black beach, we stop at a plane wreck to adore the amazing view up to Mýrdalsjökull glacier and along the big black coast all the way to Dyrhólaey, the southernmost part of Iceland. When we have synced in these beautiful sights we continue to the river Jökulsá and up to the foot of Mt. Heiðarhorn. From the mountain, we head back to the base. Unforgettable experience of conflicting landscapes where nature envelops the traveller in its warm embrace. The tour can also be done as a day tour from Reykjavik. A South Coast and AVT/Quad combo, where you will visit the magnificent waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógarfoss.
