St. Stephen's Day Fireworks Dinner Cruise with Bar Piano - August 20

As far as it is concerned, August 20th is one of the most popular national holidays in Hungary. Usually, Hungarians celebrate with dinner and fireworks. No one goes to work on this day; instead, there is a huge celebration with the hoisting of the national flag on the Kossuth Square accompanied by fascinating fireworks at night. Nevertheless, the 20th of August is not only a day when nobody works and we watch the Fireworks Show in the sky, but also one of the most important points of Hungarian memorial history, when was the foundation of the State more than a thousand years ago by King Stephen I. The dinner cruise offers a 4-course menu with an optional welcome drink, choosing it by arriving on the boat at the very beginning of the trip. The menu includes appetizers, soups, main dishes, and dessert, too. The staff also takes care of guests who are on a special diet, being a vegan or vegetarian, or suffering from lactose or gluten problems. Should you need any other special food during the cruise you are kindly asked to get in touch with the waiter/waitress a day before. All of the dishes are prepared by a talented chef and served by a friendly staff onto your table during the 4,5-hour Budapest dinner cruise. Our talented musician plays during the whole evening well-known melodies and romantic love songs as a live piano show. Important Information: Due to the official river closure during the fireworks display, all vessels are required to remain docked at their designated piers. Therefore, our vessel will dock at 20:00 before the fireworks begin. Guests are welcome to enjoy the fireworks from the front and rear decks of the ship, as well as from our centrally located downtown pier. Please note that although the program continues after the fireworks, the vessel will not resume sailing due to the river closure regulations in effect.
