We provide a true experience in making the Hungarian/Transylvanian Chimney Cake - which traditionally is called Kürtőskalács. The Kürtőskalács is a Hungaricum, and we are proud to share the secrets of making this simple dessert with our guests from around the world. Highly recommend when in Budapest. Educational, entertaining, and delicious. Class was about an hour and we enjoyed the experience, while also walking away with 3 chimney cakes each and they served us water and/or a chilled coffee, so an excellent value too!

We had an open morning, and thought this sounded like a fun option, and it was! We each got to make 3 chimney cakes. After trying several options, we both loved the cinnamon best, but was a fun way to learn a bit about Hungarian culture.

Highly recommend this fun experience to everyone visiting Budapest! The place is very popular and the teacher made it very easy to learn how to make our chimney cakes. The best part was adding our favorite toppings and eating the finished product!
