Sightseeing at Ngong Ping 360. The Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car is popular, offering riders spectacular views of the sea north of Lantau Island, the lush mountains, Hong Kong International Airport, and the little township of Tung Chung. It is one of Lantau Island's most popular sightseeing destinations. It connects Tung Chung with Nong Ping Village, which is next to the Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Peak. Lantau Peak is the highest peak on Lantau Island and the second tallest in Hong Kong. It is known for its wide, beautiful country park region that runs across the middle of the island from Lantau Peak to Sunset Peak. This region is one of Hong Kong's most attractive parklands. The cable car provides convenient transit to the Peak region and alpine country parks.
