While touching is no longer allowed, you can still enjoy an incredible learning experience with these amazing animals. Thank you for your support in helping us protect Roatán’s wildlife!
Meeting & Pickup
Pick up from the port, there are two cruise ship piers in Roatan: Coxen Hole Pier and Mahogany Bay. Start time one hour after the cruise ship began to disembark. For hotels, pick up available from 8 am to 2 pm.

This tour was the highlight of our trip! Our tour guide Whitney was very nice. He answered all of our questions and took us to both Daniel Johnson’s Animal Sanctuary and the Snorkel Location. The animal sanctuary appeared to be very clean and all the animals were well taken care of. Due to new government policies you are not allowed to hold/touch the animals. Personally I think it is better that way for the animal welfare. The snorkel tour was amazing! We went on a boat to our destination and saw many interesting sea creatures. My family all had a great time.

Highly recommend this tour!! It was a very memorable experience. Seamless from pickup at port to drop off, and excellent value! Our family of 5 had the best time interacting and laughing with the monkeys. They are so hilarious! Holding a sloth was also a really cool experience for all, and the parrots are beautiful. Our animal guide was really friendly and knowledgeable. My favorite part was snorkeling. The reef and fish were absolutely incredible, and our snorkel guide was awesome! We saw SO many beautiful fish…tons of huge parrot fish, 2 large schools of blue tang, a tarpon, lots of angel fish, and many others. Everywhere you looked it was mesmerizing! I could have spent all day out there, but we loved how much time they gave us in the water. We didn’t feel rushed, and they even allowed us time at the end to jump off the boat and swim for a bit!

My family of 8 booked this tour and was so impressed! The directions to locate them was easy to follow. Our tour guide Wilson was great! We loved the sloths and monkeys, unfortunately it was a rainy day so we opted to skip the snorkeling part of our excursion.
