What your day looks like
Roatan Monkeys and sloth hangout plus ATV Adventure will first make your way towards the island's East End your first stop will be at the monkeys and sloth offers the unique opportunity to hold and touch these animals. This is one of the most interesting sites on the island monkeys, birds, sloth after the interaction with the animals you will continue for a comfortable 20 minute air-conditioned bus or van ride to politely bight our local ATV and restaurant, your welcome station for your ATV Tour Slip on a helmet and get the safety briefing on riding an ATV. Take the wheel of your own ATV quad bike and follow your expert guide for an exhilarating 1hour and 30-minutes ride.

Restrictions
Passengers must be a minimum of 5 years old. Drivers must be a minimum of 16 years old and show a valid Driver's License. All of Roatan Henry tour Monkey and Sloth Hangout experience is now a no-contact wildlife sanctuary Experience! This important step, in partnership with the Honduran government, ensures ethical interactions and better protection for our wildlife. While touching is no longer allowed, you can still enjoy an incredible learning experience with these amazing animals. Thank you for your support in helping us protect Roatán’s wildlife!
Meeting & Pickup
Pick up from the port, there are two cruise ship piers in Roatan: Coxen Hole Pier and Mahogany Bay. Start time one hour after the cruise ship began to disembark. For hotels, pick up available from 8 am to 2 pm.

Monkey and sloths were great. ATV was not a great experience. Was supposed to be 90 minutes but our ATV tour was 34 min. Previous tour arrived back very late, our bus transportation didn’t have air-conditioning. The ATV folks in particular seemed not very organized, and a couple of kids did the tour. Atvs themselve were not in the best shape, some had bald tires and one in our group turned off instantly if it wasn’t at full throttle. If you’re looking for great consistent ATV tour try somewhere else. Don’t skip the sloths ???? and monkeys ????. Those were the highlight of the excursions.

It was a wonderful day overall!! My wife and I had a great time. ATV was super fun and adventurous while the eco park tour to see the exotic animals was quite amusing. Hensy was a great guide who took us around the island for all the activities. Towards the end he even took us to the West Bay beach and stayed with us the whole time, and dropped us back to the port. It was an amazing day.

The ATV adventure was fine, but took over 1 hr to get to and the route wasn't very adventurous. We looped back and saw the same things on the way back. It wasn't worth the distance it took to get there. The sloth and monkey location was fun and worth a visit.

We had a wonderful day holding sloths and moneys and then riding through the jungle with a local family on ATVs! Our bus driver Whitney and his son Robert might have been the best part of the day. They were so happy to accommodate us and take us wherever we wanted. They even took us to a local restaurant for lunch, Paradise Restaurant. The food was incredible!

Our family had a wonderful time!! The sloths and monkeys were so much fun we all enjoyed it. The ATV ride was the highlight of our trip - we loved riding through the villages and jungle and spending time with our tour guides. Our driver to our destination was the absolute best, his name is Whitney (request him you won't be disappointed) his son Robert also was with him and helped get us checked in at our excursion, he was a joy to have with us. Whitney told us so much about Roatan and the culture, offered to drive us anywhere we wanted to go. He gave us suggestions of other excursions to do as well and took us to a great restaurant, The Jungle Treetop Restaurant, where we had the best food on our entire trip. Highly recommend this excursion!

The excursions were great. However after the ATV’s our driver was missing. He eventually arrived to take us to the animal excursion. He explained he was at a restaurant when a female became upset with him and threw a beer at him. This leads me to believe the reason he was late was because he was at a bar drinking and used that excuse so we wouldn’t be suspicious if he smelled like beer. I didn’t feel very safe.
