What your day looks like
Your tour is a guided tour that consists of sightseeing, culture, and history of Roatan and the Bay Islands. It automatically includes a variety of activities to choose from that capture the true image of the Roatan Island lifestyle. Your guided tour starts out from your cruise ship terminal on a guided tour hearing and learning about Roatan's history and rich culture while making your way up to Daniel Johnson Monkey, Sloths Hangout for you to get to see the animals followed by your, boat ride out to the reef to discover the underwater marine wildlife and the colorful coral and drop-off wall. After that, a visit to the chocolate and rum factory for a tour of the facility and sample home made chocolate and rum on the island.

We had a wonderful time at Daniel Johnson's Monkey and Sloth center. We didn't get to meet Daniel but I heard he was on the property! We had an incredible tour guide, Caleb, who's passion for the animals and their care and protection was evident. We were a multi-generational group and every one of every age loved the experience. Highly recommend.

It was super special to be able to experience the animals at this center. Caleb was our tour guide and his love for the animals and their care was just as special to experience. He made sure all our questions were answered and that we all got to hold the monkeys and macaws. We learned so much and if was just as great for the kids as the adults. We added a stop at the chocolate shop which was super crowded and not what we expected but then got right to the beach for some snorkeling and relaxing time in the sun. David was or driver and he took great care of us. He was patient with our large group and helpful all along the way. We all highly recommend this experience!
