What your day looks like
Climb Pacaya Volcano and walk on petrified lava Have you ever stood in front of an active volcano? Now is your chance. Just a few hours from Guatemala City, Pacaya Volcano awaits you with a landscape that looks like something from another planet. On this half-day adventure, you'll walk among solidified lava formations, volcanic trails, and panoramic views that will leave you speechless. The ascent begins at 1,920 m and reaches 2,300 m, through a moderately difficult route that can be enjoyed without prior experience. The trail is surrounded by native vegetation, fresh mountain air, and natural viewpoints from which you can see other volcanoes such as Agua and Fuego. Once in the petrified lava zone, you will have time to explore, take photos, and feel the force of the earth beneath your feet. After the descent, we return to Guatemala City with our hearts full and memories of an unforgettable experience.

Traslado ida y vuelta desde Ciudad de Guatemala. Pick-up en zonas 1, 4, 9, 10, 11, 13 y 14. Para zonas 15 y 16, punto de encuentro: Hotel Intercontinental (Zona 10). Entrada al Parque Nacional Volcán Pacaya. Acceso oficial al sendero y áreas habilitadas para visitantes. Guía turístico certificado. Acompañamiento durante toda la caminata, con orientación, seguridad y explicaciones sobre la zona. Caminata guiada hasta la zona de lava petrificada. Ascenso moderado con vistas panorámicas y contacto directo con el paisaje volcánico. Excursión operada todos los días del año. Organización profesional, sin importar la temporada.

Food and drinks. The tour does not include breakfast or lunch. We recommend bringing a piece of fruit or a snack. Tips. Not mandatory, but always appreciated if you wish to thank the guide or driver. Souvenirs or additional services. Any personal expenses outside the itinerary are at your own expense. Transfers from non-included areas. Pickup is not included from Zones 15 and 16. In these cases, the meeting point is the Intercontinental Hotel (Zone 10).
