What your day looks like
After an introductory stand-up paddleboard course from your qualified instructor on the Plage de Babin beach, head towards Macou Island while exploring the mangroves on the way. Thanks to the clear water, you will enjoy exceptional views of the Caribbean marine life as your friendly guide provides interesting explanations. Learn why mangroves are such an essential ecosystem for Guadeloupe, acting as a nursery for marine life, as well as a filter and protection for the island itself. The excursion takes you through the mangrove forest in this protected area that is not accessible by boat. Enjoy privileged access as you see the different species living underwater, such as multicolored fish, starfish, rays, crabs, and coral. See the colonies of pelicans, herons, and frigatebirds perched in the mangroves and soaring overhead before returning to Plage de Babin beach.

Meeting & Pickup
The meeting point will be in front of the PENCHARD VOYAGE agency It is outside the gate terminal on the left. (there is only one gate). walk 5 minutes from the boat to the gate. Outside the gate walk left 60 m, on the other side of the road (on your right) you will see PENCHARD VOYAGE agency the taxi driver or the guide will have a sign or written “PADDLE TOUR” please arrive 10 minutes early.
