Your day, step by step
Day 1
Meteora Village
Transportation at Meteora. Catch the morning bus to Kalambaka at 8:00 AM from Athens Larissa railway station. Upon your arrival in Kalambaka at around 12:49 PM, your English-speaking driver will be waiting for you at the train station holding a signboard with your name on it to transfer you to your hotel. In the late afternoon, the VIP minibus will pick you up from your hotel to join the Meteora Sunset Tour. Admire breathtaking views of Meteora and discover the hidden gems of this place on one of the best tours of mainland Greece.

For the next morning you may choose the activity you wish to do: the 'Half-Day morning Tour of Meteora' to see the main attractions, the monasteries of Meteora with a VIP minibus or the 'Hiking Tour of Meteora'. Experience amazing sceneries and visit monuments of the Byzantine period, the monasteries of Meteora.

Archaeological Exploration at Delphi Archaeological Museum. Upon arriving in Delphi, your driver will show you the bus station where you can safely leave your luggage. Start your exploration of Delphi by visiting the Delphi Museum, which houses an impressive collection of ancient artifacts and sculptures, including the famous Charioteer of Delphi. After the museum, take a short walk to the Delphi archaeological site, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the ancient ruins, including the Temple of Apollo, the Athenian Treasury, and the Theater of Delphi.

What to Bring
• A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops are allowed. Knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements • Reaching the top of the monasteries involves climbing steps. There are no elevators available, so please consider this if you have any mobility concerns • Comfortable walking shoes are recommended
Meeting & Pickup
Embark on your exciting journey by joining our private, air-conditioned bus at 07:45 AM. Departure time 08.00am. The bus will be conveniently stationed on the street directly oposite/across from the Central Railway Station of Athens (Stathmos Larisis), adjacent to Everest cafe. Look out for the unmistakable "Visit Meteora" sign displayed in the front window, making it easy for you to spot. Seats are not assigned, so you are free to choose your seat. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure to Meteora!

The trip to Meteora was wonderful. My daughter and granddaughter did the walking tour and I did the "bus" tour. Dimitri was my tour guide and as I was the only one on this tour he drove his car and I got a private tour. My brain was filled with so much information that I wish now I had a tape recorder or at least taken notes. The place we stayed at was great with the owners more then helpful and kind. They also had a restaurant which we ate all our meals as the food was so reasonably priced and delicious.
