We walked to the tour office that morning right on time to meet the driver waiting to take us to the Ammoudi Bay. Once we reached the bay, the two of us along with four other customers all got on a transfer little taxi boat that dropped us at our private catamaran boat. No one explained to us what was happening. The description of the tour says that we will make 4 stops. In actuality we only went to two stops: #1 and #3. (Volcanic hot springs AND Thirassia island). 1. Thirassia island. 2. Aspronissi whitewashed cliffs 3. Volcanic hot springs to swim. 4. “sailing in the interior of the Caldera basin discovering the hidden caves, coasts only accessible by sea, visiting Fira Old Port while sailing under the cliffs admiring the scenery created by mother nature.” For lunch, we did not have “Appetizers & BBQ Main Course” as described. We only had 5 items: Greek salad, orzos, yogurt dip, stuffed grape leaves, pita bread. I was looking forward to BBQ as my main course. I don’t even think there was a main course given to us. The captain never really talked to us or explained in details of what we were looking at or explain a little history of the places. The skipper was even worse. She was young. Hardly smiled or looked like she was interested in her job. We asked her one question about one of places and she looked away while answering as if we were bothering her. So for the price paid, this was a real disappointment to be considered a private tour. Felt more like a large massive tour with no personal touch and subpar quality and services. We didn’t get to experience all the stops and food promised. I would never recommend this company to anyone. We did not enjoy one bit of this experience.
