What your day looks like
There’s nothing quite like the Oktoberfest! It’s the world’s largest beer and folk festival, and tales of rambunctious festivities in their trademark temporary beer halls are the stuff of legend. During your six-hour guided tour of the Oktoberfest grounds, you’ll be amazed by the stories your tour guide will tell and the sheer size of the tents. There’s nothing quite like the Oktoberfest! Oktoberfest is quite an authentic experience for all. With regards to the Oktoberfest grounds and atmosphere, there are no "VIP" areas, it is a fairgrounds and there are many (MANY) tents, each with lots of great beer, chicken, and pretzels, and most everyone in their festive Oktoberfest attire. We believe our tent selections are some of the most authentic and local favorites, after several years of successfully offering this immensely popular tour!

Detailed Itinerary
The journey, in full
Your tour will take you right through the Oktoberfest with your professional tour guide explaining the history of the celebration and why it has become such a mecca for beer enthusiasts the world over. We’ll visit tents from the major southern German brewers Augustiner, Löwenbräu, and Hofbräu, to name a few. Your tour guide will make sure that you’re set up to properly appreciate the “Wiesn,” as the Oktoberfest is known to the locals. You’ll get insights on its history and culture, with fun anecdotes about the events, rides, and beer tents. The best part of your tour: Reserved seating in one of the largest of the beer tents along with food, drink and entertainment provided. Bring your appetite since you’ll be treated to two full steins (that’s two liters!) of special Oktoberfest beer and an entire half chicken for lunch. Your table server will take very good care of you as will your guide, so you’ll get the personalized attention you desire. Once our table reservation time is up (generally after a few hours), you can of course stay in the beer tent or explore the rest of the festival grounds on your own for as long as you would like.

What to Bring
Please bring euros in cash for tent waitstaff gratuities or if you wish to purchase more than 2 beers. Cards are not accepted. Please wear comfortable shoes (we recommend closed-toe shoes). Although certainly not mandatory, it’s fun & encouraged to wear traditional attire!
Restrictions
Bags larger than 20 cm x 15 cm x 10 cm are strictly prohibited from the festival grounds.
Meeting & Pickup
This tour meets and ends at our shop which is just off Karlsplatz 4 (Stachus), the bustling square between the Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof) and Marienplatz. At the Karlsplatz fountain with your back to Karlstor and the pedestrian shopping street, turn right along Sonnenstrasse. After 50 meters, you will see our shop in the courtyard of Karlsplatz 4, on the right-hand side. The closest metro station is Karlsplatz (Stachus).

The Octoberfest event was fantastic! We had our own personal guide who toured/walked us around the Octoberfest event, explaining what various attractions were.
