Expert-led WWII Nazi Munich Tour: Hitler and the Third Reich
What your day looks like
This 3-hour WWII and Nazi Munich tour examines how Munich became known as the “Capital of the Movement” and why the city played such a central role in the rise of National Socialism. Led by a historian, the walk traces key sites connected to Adolf Hitler’s early political life, the formation of the Nazi Party, propaganda, resistance, and the machinery of power. Rather than presenting these places as isolated landmarks, your guide will help you understand the social, political, and economic conditions that allowed the movement to grow. You’ll explore how public spaces, beer halls, architecture, and ceremony were used to build support, intimidate opposition, and reshape civic life. This experience offers a serious, contextual approach to one of the darkest chapters of modern history. By the end, you’ll have a clearer understanding of Munich’s role in the Third Reich, the resistance it inspired, and the lasting questions these sites continue to raise today.

What travelers are saying
My clients FAVORITE part of Munich! The Guide was beyond great and brought the tour to life!
Great tour
Our guide Brendan was wonderful. He was very intelligent and learned so much on our tour. He even learned about us and showed us something that wasn’t necessarily on the tour but we really enjoyed seeing (river surfing). I loved that it was a private tour and it felt very personalized and I would highly recommend taking this tour.
It was a great introduction to Munich with history and sites and recommendations. Perfect way to begin a trip!
