Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

This bike tour features eight fascinating stops at some of Munich’s most iconic landmarks. Along the way, you’ll uncover surprising stories — including Napoleon’s influence on the city — at Max-Joseph-Platz, where you’ll also learn about Bavaria’s first king and admire the impressive Munich Residenz. Continue to the grand Odeonsplatz to explore Munich’s complex role during World War II, then cycle through the elegant Hofgarten toward the striking Bavarian State Chancellery. Next, enjoy a relaxing ride through the beautiful English Garden, home to one of the world’s largest beer gardens at the Chinese Tower. Here, you’ll have time to savor traditional Bavarian food and a refreshing drink beneath the blue-and-white Bavarian sky. After the break, visit one of Munich’s most unique attractions — the famous river surfing spot at the Eisbachwelle, where surfers ride a standing wave year-round. Throughout the tour, your guide will also share practical tips and insider advice for visiting Oktoberfest, including what to expect and how to make the most of the experience.
