The Experience

What your day looks like

French Polynesia has become one of the world's largest sanctuaries for marine mammals since 2002. In this tour, we offer you the opportunity to encounter cetaceans around the island of Moorea. You can observe them and also immerse yourself to swim with dolphins, pilot whales, humpback whales, and other species. You can also swim with Blacktip Sharks, observe rays in shallow lagoon waters, and explore the colorful tropical fish at the coral garden. On board, we will provide you with various beverages such as tea, coffee, local fruit juices, and water. You can enjoy fruit skewers and delicious snacks. This unlimited gourmet snack is included in our rates. For all full-day tours, we will also serve you a Tahitian Ma'a (traditional local meal): a delicious buffet of fresh and local products. We will explain how these local delicacies are prepared and provide you with additional cultural and historical information about Moorea and French Polynesia. French Polynesia is one of the rare places in the world where you can encounter humpback whales and swim with them in their natural environment. Accompanied by our marine biologist, enjoy our experience to have unforgettable encounters with humpback whales and other cetaceans. Around twenty species of cetaceans freely roam the waters of French Polynesia and are protected. Some species are resident and observable year-round on Moorea, such as Long-beaked Dolphins, while others are migratory, like humpback whales (observable only from the 20th of July to the 20th of November).
