The Experience

What your day looks like

In 2026, a visit to Giverny is even more meaningful as the village marks 100 years since Monet’s passing, offering a special chance to experience the home and gardens that inspired his art and honour his lasting legacy. Embark on a journey to Claude Monet’s bloom-bursting estate at Giverny and learn about the hugely influential Impressionist art movement. Travel from Paris to the quaint country village of Giverny by air-conditioned coach. On the drive, which takes around an hour, your guide will provide a detailed explanation of the day’s agenda. Your first stop is the Fondation Claude Monet where you’ll be treated to a brief but informative introduction to the estate where the Impressionist master made his home. After the orientation tour, you are free to explore the Home and Gardens of Monet at your leisure using a convenient self-guided audio app. Stroll around the lily pad-peppered ponds of the garden that were made famous by Monet’s own masterpieces. Admire the fabulous explosion of blooms which change depending on the season. Make your way around the artist’s ivy-clad Home which has been restored to show how it would have appeared during the painter’s lifetime. You can also grab lunch in one of the town’s tranquil bars or restaurants which exude provincial charm. After lunch, we’ll regroup and make the short trip back to Paris with enough time to spare for you to enjoy another fun-filled activity in Paris. Take advantage of this unparallel experience to one of France's most photographable and unique destinations. The maximum number of guests on this tour is 25 people. Our tours are designed to provide a small group experience, ensuring that each guest receives personal attention and a more intimate exploration of Monet's Home and Gardens. The tour includes an expert, English-speaking guide, round-trip transfers by private air-conditioned coach, entrance tickets and reservation fees for Monet’s Home , and headsets when appropriate, so all guests can hear the guide clearly.

Really enjoyed the grounds. And the strip of restaurants/bars. I wish I could say the house was great but it was so crowded you were in a congo line toe to toe so there was no chance to stop and enjoy the art or the experience. But the grounds were magnificent. And great gift shop.

This was an excellent tour! The group leader was there right on time checking everyone in and the bus ride was lovely (on a double-decker bus) where the tour guide shared lots of important information. Monet‘s house and the gardens were absolutely spectacular. It was a lovely step outside of the city, my whole family enjoyed it!

The tour of the gardens and house were amazing. Even in October the flowers were still in full bloom. We enjoyed a nice lunch at one of the cafes. Out tour guide read from her notes.
