In the morning after breakfast, drive to Yemrehana Krestos Church, approximately one hour away to Yemrehana Krestos is an extraordinary 11th-century rock-hewn church celebrated for its intricate architecture and ancient frescoes. Built within a cave, it features a unique blend of Aksumite and medieval design, detailed carvings, and a beautifully preserved interior that showcases early Christian artistry Afternoon: Return to Lalibela for a lunch break followed by a short rest. Later in the afternoon, continue exploring the second group of Lalibela’s remarkable rock-hewn churches.
