Detailed Itinerary
The journey, in full
Start: Buckingham Palace & Royal Landmarks (~1.5 hrs) Begin at Buckingham Palace (if timing works, catch the Changing of the Guard—typically at 10:45 AM, but check the schedule). Walk through St. James’s Park, a peaceful green space with great palace views. Continue toward Westminster Abbey, stopping for exterior views and history. See Big Ben & the Houses of Parliament from Parliament Square. Walk along the Thames River, soaking in London’s iconic skyline. Mid-Morning: St. Paul’s Cathedral & Millennium Bridge (~1 hr) Stroll toward St. Paul’s Cathedral, pausing for a photo stop. Cross the modern Millennium Bridge, with stunning views of the river and London’s mix of old and new architecture. Optional coffee/snack break along the way. Midday: Tower of London & Riverside Walk (~1.5 hrs) Walk along the Thames toward the Tower of London, admiring the historic fortress from the outside. View Tower Bridge, one of London’s most famous structures. Short break for lunch or a quick bite at a nearby café/pub. Afternoon: Leicester Square, Chinatown & Covent Garden (~1.5 hrs) Head to Leicester Square, a lively entertainment hub. Walk through Chinatown, stopping for a sweet treat or a quick look at the colorful decorations. Arrive at Covent Garden, where you can enjoy street performers and explore boutique shops. Final Stop: Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus & London Eye (~1.5 hrs) Pass through Trafalgar Square, home to Nelson’s Column and the National Gallery. Walk toward Piccadilly Circus, London’s version of Times Square, with bright lights and buzzing energy. Finish at the London Eye, where you can enjoy views of the Thames and the city as the tour concludes. If you wish to go inside any landmarks it is needed a Blue Badge guide. A non-BB guide is a great choice if you want to take your time to see the different landmarks and you are able to see more places as well. A BB guide is a better choice when you want to go inside landmarks. *The extra fee for a BB guide does not include entrance tickets

This tour was great! Davey picked us up at our hotel and asked what we were interested in seeing. He then planned the day around our interests. The only unfortunate thing was I wanted to see the changing of the guards, which was not happening this day. If this is something that you're interested in (and your not traveling in the summer), make sure to check the days this is happening to book your tour accordingly. We had a great lunch as well. It is a lot of walking, but so much great information was shared and awesome locations pointed out that you almost forgot how much your feet hurt. Don't hesitate to book this tour- you won't be disappointed.
