The Experience

What your day looks like

24-hour hop-on hop-off open-top bus tour Will take you around Windsor, the historic market town just outside of London. It houses many interesting buildings including the famous Windsor Castle. The castle was built by William the Conqueror in 1070 when a timber motte and bailey castle were first constructed. The modern-day castle hosted the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Megan Markle in May 2018. You will learn about Windsor’s historic past, as you drive around its cobbled streets taking in the sites of the Theatre Royal, Holy Trinity Church, and the Windsor farm shop. You can hop on or hop off at any of the 11 stops on the route to explore more. The route also takes you past Eton College, said to be the most famous school in the world, where Prince William and Harry were both educated. Windsor is a short train journey away from central London, taking you right into the heart of the town. It’s easy to see why it is so popular Boat Trip: Depart from Windsor Promenade in the heart of the historic town of Windsor and cruise along the Thames upstream to Boveney Lock and Weir. Exceptional Views: During your journey, you’ll get to take in wonderful views of the world-famous Windsor Castle. As the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world, it is not to be missed! You’ll also see sights of the renowned Eton College where Prince William and former Prime Minister, David Cameron attended, Mill House, Windsor Racecourse, and Brocas Meadows. Excellent Onboard Experience: You’ll get to enjoy a wonderful onboard experience as the comfortable passenger boat cruises the iconic waters. With an array of light refreshments available and an onboard bar, if you’re wanting something extra special, this trip is a truly delightful way to take in the glorious sights of Windsor. Why not add an entrance to Windsor Castle? Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world, and Queen Elizabeth II loves to spend her weekends in this stunning fortress. Built-in the 11th century by William the Conqueror, the castle is still a favorite residence of the royal family. This sprawling grand home covers an area of 13 acres and overlooks charming Windsor town – pay the castle a visit and find out why our royals have lived here for centuries.
