The Experience

What your day looks like

Explore the grand sets, intricate details and sheer filmmaking magic of the Harry Potter film series. Warner Bros. Studio Tour London is a truly incredible experience. Start the experience where the story begins, at the Cupboard Under the Stairs where Harry spent his days with the Dursleys. Proceed to the Great Hall after you watch a welcome video where you can see actual costumes and props from the film series, in the actual set where Harry and his classmates gathered on so many occasions. Showcasing the best of British filmmaking, the level of detail you come across as you explore the Studio Tour is hard to believe. See the Gryffindor™ common room, visit Dumbledore’s office, peer into Hagrid’s hut and see the incredible animatronic door to the Chamber of Secrets. Ride a broomstick in the green screen experience, step onto Platform 9¾ and see inside the Hogwarts Express. In the backlot, visitors can buy a famous Butterbeer™, before taking in the impressive sights of the Knight Bus™ and Privet Drive. Learn the secrets and magic of filmmaking, with an exploration into the animatronics and prosthetics used in the film series, as well as concept artwork and a colossal model of Hogwarts™ castle itself. Warner Bros, Studio Tour London is an unforgettable day of wizarding fun for all the family. Step into the Forbidden Forest For the first time, visitors are encouraged to defy Professor Dumbledore’s orders and follow Harry, Ron and Hermione’s footsteps into the Forbidden Forest. Home to Buckbeak the Hippogriff, Aragog the Acromantula and 19 trees each with a diameter of over 12 feet, visitors are invited to walk beneath the giant entwined roots and discover how to control the weather using the same techniques used during filming. Gringotts Wizarding Bank - Coming 6th April Enter the all-new Gringotts Wizarding Bank on Diagon Alley and discover the magical treasures within. Step into Bellatrix Lestrange’s vault to find the Sword of Gryffindor and Helga Hufflepuff’s Cup, one of Voldemort’s many Horcruxes, before taking a unique photo surrounded by thousands of pieces of magical treasure…unless the goblins find you first! Upon reopening, visitors will experience the Studio Tour’s special feature, A Celebration of Slytherin. For the first time ever, visitors will be able to walk through the Great Hall decorated in Slytherin colours before being the first to see the Slytherin Common Room up close. A 25-ft section of the set complete with authentic props and imposing stone walls will be on display for fans.

Finding the bus meeting spot was a little stressful as a group from out of the country. Once we figured that out, the bus ride there and back was nice and comfortable.

The sets and behind the magic tour were great. The coordination for catching the bus was a bit cumbersome. The AC on the bus did not work great. Overall a fantastic day!

The tour was absolutely fabulous! So many great experiences for any Harry Potter fan. The transport was very comfortable and we loved that the Harry Potter movies were available to view during the trip. We did miss where to find the headphones when we entered the bus and didn't see them until after we arrived at the tour. Other than that it was great!

Great experience. Our instructions from Project Expedition were a bit confusing and we ended up at the wrong pick up point. Manav at the Golden Tours Visitors Center on Baker Street was so helpful in making sure that we were able to board and different bus and had our tickets waiting for us when we arrived! He was wonderful! The visit to the Harry Potter Studio Tour was great and exceeded our expectations! My only complaint would be the number of people in the building made it difficult to see everything in the allotted time.

My kids and I loved the Harry Potter Warner Brothers studios. The bus ride is about 1.5 hours from London, double decker. My only complaint is that the media screens (they show the Harry Potter movies on the bus) are very old, the sound cuts out and the films were grainy. An upgrade there would be nice.
