Departure from York & the Yorkshire Moors Leave York and journey into the stunning North York Moors, a landscape of rolling heather, hidden valleys, and dramatic skies. Discover the scenery that inspired writers like Emily Brontë and her novel Wuthering Heights. Hutton-le-Hole Village Visit Hutton-le-Hole, a charming village with red-roofed cottages, grazing sheep, and a peaceful brook. Enjoy time for a short walk, refreshments, or an optional visit to the Ryedale Folk Museum. Whitby Continue to the coastal town of Whitby, famous for its dramatic setting and connection to Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Enjoy free time to explore the harbour, wander cobbled streets, visit the Abbey ruins, or sample traditional fish and chips. Robin Hood’s Bay Visit Robin Hood’s Bay, a picturesque fishing village known for its narrow lanes, historic cottages, and smuggling legends. Take in sweeping views of the North Sea and soak up the village’s unique charm. Goathland Station Stop at Goathland Railway Station, प्रसिद्ध as Hogsmeade Station in the Harry Potter films. Capture photos and enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere of this historic station. Hole of Horcum & Pickering Pass by the Hole of Horcum, a dramatic natural amphitheatre linked to local legends. Continue to Pickering, a historic market town, before heading back. Return to York Relax on the return journey to York after a day of coastal views, moorland scenery, and literary history. Arrival is approximately at 5:00 PM.
