What travelers are saying
Fantastic experience!
Overall, we enjoyed our tour and appreciate the opportunity to explore some remarkable sights. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided wonderful insight into the history of Stonehenge and the charming villages of Lacock and Bath. We especially liked the private viewing of Stonehenge — it felt intimate, special, and well worth the trip — and we only wished we’d had a bit more time to explore these lovely places at a more leisurely pace. However, we were disappointed by how a particular incident was handled when a fellow traveler was late in returning to the bus after our stop in Lacock. There was some confusion about the departure time and meeting point, and phone service was unreliable, which made communication challenging. The guide seemed frustrated by the delay and chose to voice his displeasure over the bus’s microphone, repeatedly threatening to leave and openly criticizing the late traveler in a way that felt unprofessional and unfair — especially considering the person was trying to find his traveling companion in a confusing setting. We appreciate guides who maintain patience and professionalism under pressure, and we feel this moment fell short of those expectations. Nonetheless, we thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the tour and hope future guides will handle similar situations with a bit more understanding and discretion.
James and George were so knowledgeable, funny, accommodating. Would recommend this highly!
