You'll skip the ticket queues and the audio-guides that most visitors to Stonehenge encounter, and enjoy a personal, interactive tour of the stones. You'll then escape the crowds and delve deep into 'Secret England', down small country roads and into a land of stunning countryside, hidden villages, woods and quaint, thatched cottages. You'll enjoy lunch at a carefully selected award-winning traditional English country inn that oozes character and serves superb locally-sourced fare with a choice of beverages including local, world-renowned Somerset cider. After lunch, you'll explore some stunning villages - places few other tourists will ever see or even hear about - that are not only beautiful but share some truly magical places of interest, with stories to go with! Tours typically return to Bath by 4.30 pm.

Dan was an excellent tour guide-knowledgeable, flexible, personable and very attentive to our interests. We learned so much from him and enjoyed his company immensely-highly recommend!

Our guide Simon was excellent. From the beautiful drive out of Bath to Stonehenge- then the drive through small towns with lunch at an off the tourist beaten path pub, we felt we saw so much of the countryside. My daughter and I are were driven with one other couple. We would highly recommend this tour!

Max our guide was terrific. He was also a wonderful person and i felt like I was traveling with an old friend. We needed a little slower paced tour than planned and he carried it off perfectly. I loved my day with Him, so did my husband and daughter and would definitely book with him again.

It was just the two of us, our guide Max, and one other lady on the tour so it was very personal. The most rainy day of our whole trip just happened to be on this day. But our tour guide Max did his best to give us a good experience. About 3/4 the way around Stonehenge, it started pouring and never stopped for the day. He did take the time to sit with us in the cafe there out of the rain and tell us all about Stonehenge. He drove us all round the countryside of Bath, took us to a great old inn for lunch, and later a very old pub for a drink. We visited an amazing old parish church with a fascinating history. Max is a Bath resident, very knowledgeable about the area, and a history lover so he provided lots of insight and we learned a lot. Despite the rain, Max did a great job with this tour improvising where needed. The reason I gave this our 4 stars instead of 5 is because in retrospect the price for this tour is too high for what we experienced.

Samm was an enthusiastic, informative and charming guide and a fantastic driver, safely negotiating our way through some very tight traffic situations. The tour delivered all it promised with secret surprise locations in the lovely country landscape. An excellent day all round!
