What your day looks like
This is a walking tour combined with a full Afternoon Tea and Entry to the Royal Palace. The walk lasts for about 45 minutes and takes in the major features of Kensington Gardens. Your guide will describe how the site was developed from its inception to the current day and share historical moments that shaped the creation of the Royal Palace in 1694. The Afternoon Tea comprises finger sandwiches, scones, strawberry jam, clotted cream, a selection of cakes, and your choice of fine tea. Your ticket is timed to allow entry 2 hours from the start of the tour and audio guides in major languages are available inside the Palace. The Palace conducts hourly talks on various aspects of its 300-year history. Please ask the staff about this on arrival as the talks are most informative. Other things to note The Afternoon Tea does not include any alcohol, but a drinks menu is available when you visit for a supplementary cost. Coffee and soft drinks are available in place of tea on request. Please speak to your server about your allergies or food intolerances or send us a message before the tour. Detailed Itinerary
The journey, in full
First, we will have a stroll around Kensington Gardens and learn about the part Hyde Park played in London’s development. We will see the beautiful gardens Prince Albert created for his wife, Queen Victoria, and take in the spectacular views as we approach the Palace, where Prince Harry and William grew up, while also discovering the statue of their late mother, Princess Diana, which stands in the mesmerising sunken garden. We will then experience the full splendor of High Tea in the 18th Century Tea Room created by Queen Anne, whilst giving you fascinating insights into our Royal family and the intriguing history behind our national drink, as well as the ceremony of afternoon tea. Your timed entry ticket allows access to Kensington Palace after your tea for a self-guided tour. The Palace conducts hourly talks on various aspects of its 300-year history.

Our guide was fun and informative. We loved the guided walk (despite the record heat). The afternoon tea was so worth it (again, despite the record heat) and the self-guided palace tour was interesting.
