Take a Ted Lasso Tour and follow in the footsteps of American football coach Ted Lasso. This guided walking tour will take you to numerous exterior locations in the charming area of Richmond-Upon-Thames in South West London. This charming suburb of South West London hosts the story of the Emmy award-winning show. The show now boasts a huge following of fans on both sides of the pond. The Ted Lasso tour gives you an opportunity to step into the world of Ted who as an American college football coach was hired to be the coach of an English football team – AFC Richmond. On this guided walking tour you will visit more than 12 actual filming locations and places featured in all two series including Keeley Jones & Roy Kent’s great first date, where Rebecca’s bad double date happened, Ted’s front door, and of course Ted’s local pub, ‘the Crown & Anchor’. You’ll even discover some as-yet-unknown Series 3 locations. You will get behind-the-scenes information about the making of the show and learn about the history of the local area of Richmond. Get trivia about characters such as Roy Kent, Keeley, Nathan, and of course coach Ted. Discover how a show such as this is brought from page to screen and learn about some of its inspirations. On the Ted Lasso Tour, you will get to visit many of the locations featured in many memorable scenes in the Richmond-Upon-Thames area. Along the way, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to take lots of photos and see the locations up close. Meeting & Pickup
The tour starts from Richmond Station so if you are coming from central London it’s best to use an Oyster card. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early at your meeting point. The meeting point is outside the main entrance/exit of Richmond Railway Station (District tube line and Main line). When exiting the station turn left a few steps and we are in front of the little card store and a building that says 'Station Building'.

Our tour guide, Sandy, was excellent! I loved how she carried a large photo album and would show us pics of Ted Lasso scenes and how the local venues were used in them. If we had not had a guided tour, we would never have known all the places that were included in the episodes. Richmond is an amazing community and so beautiful. It was a gorgeous Sunday afternoon when we were there, and the local townspeople were taking full advantage of it on the Richmond Green and along the banks of the Thames. Such a wonderful community feel.
