What your day looks like
The Holy Island of Lindisfarne, just off the coast of Northumberland, is a true magnet for visitors from far and wide. Intriguingly only accessible via a causeway at low tide twice a day, it was the cradle of English Christianity in Anglo Saxon times and has remained an important site of pilgrimage to this day. Although the tour culminating on Holy Island is already fabulous, your journey there is equally special, following the stunning Northumberland coastline. Let us know (at checkout) if you wish to walk over to Holy Island via the pilgrimage path (approx. 2h walking time) and if there is anything on the island that is a must-do for you. We will ensure you have the perfect experience when visiting Holy Island and the Northumberland coast.
