Are you a foodie? Would you like to experience some of the best street food markets London has to offer and get a taste of urban London at the same time? Over the last 10 years, street food markets have popped up all around the city. No matter what day it is or which side of the river you are on, there will be great food to enjoy from around the world—or you can take home some real goodies to feast on later. From oysters to truffles, Thai to Jamaican jerk chicken, pastries to pasties—it’s all here when you visit London, with the opportunity to stop and shop at them all. What a great combo! And we’re not just talking about the food. This is a unique London Taxi Tour, mixing food, urban London, and traditional London as we move around the city. We will leave you at the last street food market of the day so you can settle in for your lunch or dinner and really soak up the London urban vibe. All of our London taxi tour guides have passed the world-famous Knowledge of London exam and have, on average, been driving a London Black Taxi for over 25 years. In addition, many of our guides hold additional tour guide qualifications, meaning their knowledge of London’s history, buildings, places, and people is second to none. Their passion and expertise ensure that whatever tour you choose will be fun, informative, and memorable. On your London Street Food Taxi Tour, you’ll be stopping at at least three of the city’s top street food markets. Whether you’re in the mood for Thai, Jamaican, Middle Eastern, or even gourmet pastries, you’ll have the chance to taste your way around the world in just a few hours. At each market, you’ll have plenty of time to explore, shop, and sample delicious foods. If something catches your eye (or your taste buds), you can stock up on goodies to take home. From freshly baked bread and sweet treats to savory snacks and unique street vendor creations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. And between each stop, enjoy a guided sightseeing experience as we tour London’s iconic landmarks. Smoking is not permitted in our taxis. No hazardous materials are allowed to be carried in our taxis. All of our taxis are wheelchair accessible. However, if a person remains in the wheelchair for the duration of the tour it may limit the number of people the taxi can accommodate comfortably. Just let us know and we will work it all out. Collapsible wheelchairs and child pushchairs can be stored in the front of the taxi cab.
