We absolutely loved this tour. It was a bit pricey but it was a private tour with just my husband and I and Michael, our amazing tour guide. Loved the freedom we felt being in a golf cart and able to take our time at places that mattered to us. Michael was extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly where to take us for an authentic pizza for lunch.

Meeting instructions and location well communicated. Early arrival before the crowds, "Brilliant" as the British like to say! We had a Blue Badge Guide so tons of info and stories and a great job of group time management too. Would've liked 10 more minutes with the jewels but had a boat to catch to get to other parts of tour. Needed info on bag size allowed inside...my12x10 inch day pack was allowed after a search. No storage facility for bags available. There's also a coffee shop near the ticket office for the Tower of London, so very convenient. Our tour ended at Buckingham Palace right about the time the changing of the guards was going on so that was a plus!

The actual tour was amazing, EXCEPT that we could not get on the Thames boat ride in a timely manner. It took almost an hour of waiting which took time away from the Tower of London, and even more disappointing was completely missing the Changing of the Horseguards Ceremony which we were the most excited about. The tour should have times slotted for the river transportation to make the timed events. There were many very upset people on this tour which took some of the joy out of the whole experience. Our tour guide was an amazing storyteller and full of so much history knowledge. She was the saving grace of the experience.
