The Experience

What your day looks like

The extensive collection spans 6000 years of human history, featuring items from every corner of the world. Our guides will take a serious but enjoyable approach towards the museum’s galleries, discussing primitive tribes and forgotten empires through a carefully curated selection of exhibits. Discover Samurai armor and centuries’ old Assyrian lion hunt reliefs. You’ll learn about the Mummy of Katebet, the Lewis Chessmen, and the Rosetta Stone – the actual rock, not the language learning software. Leave the tour with an understanding of what we humans have achieved during our short history and be proud to call yourself a part of this incredible species.

I’ve been to the British Museum several times, but this was one of the best tours I’ve had. He was very knowledgeable and showed us so many great things.

Ivo did a wonderful job of showing us some of the most interesting parts of the museum. Best of all, he brought history to life. We could imagine the people who lived thousands of years ago and sense how and perhaps even why they created the art we now admire in our time. Ivo is exceptional! He managed our group with different interests so harmoniously. And ultimately he gave us a window into history that we wouldn’t have found on our own at this vast museum.
