Laying in the western mountains of El Salvador, we find The Flowers Route, this is one of the most popular tourist destinations and named for its abundance of flowers on the picturesque road. Forget the big cities and its back and forth and visit the authentic towns of El Salvador, with beautiful mountainous vegetation: Ataco, a small mountainous town, where you can getting caught for the cobbled streets that lead you through a gallery art printed in the houses of local people in their colorful walls, you will visit in the way Apaneca a coffe making town. Nahuizalco, where you can see in the local markets people of the last pure indigenous communities in El Salvador, know their history in the local museum. Another stop for visit, Juayúa, founded by the Pipiles ( pre-Columbian folks) , its name could means “Water from Heart” due the several waterfalls around the city, explore the main square and the local church with Cristo Negro statue, wich is in the locality since late century XV and similar with the image in Esquipulas.
