Begin in San Salvador with a guided city tour, including key landmarks and a visit to El Boquerón National Park for panoramic views of the capital. Explore the remarkable Mayan ruins of Joya de Cerén, known as the Pompeii of America, before traveling along the scenic Ruta de las Flores, stopping in charming towns like Izalco, Nahuizalco, and Ataco. Continue to Copán, Honduras, to visit its UNESCO-listed Mayan ruins, renowned for their intricate carvings and historical significance. Then, journey to Antigua Guatemala, a beautifully preserved colonial town with cobbled streets, colorful markets, and architectural treasures. Enjoy free time to explore, or take an optional excursion to Chichicastenango and Lake Atitlán, where vibrant culture and stunning scenery await. Your day, step by step

Day 1

San Salvador

Welcome to El Salvador! Welcome will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel, with an optional tour to Sunset Park, a beachfront area with restaurants, for those arriving in the morning or midday.

Day 2

San Salvador

City/Town Tour. After breakfast, guided tour around San Salvador visiting residential areas, Plaza Salvador del Mundo, high relief map, Iglesias El Rosario, Monsignor Romero’s tomb, government area, etc. free time for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, visit El Boqueron National Park, on top of San Salvador volcano, with beautiful views of the city. Overnight.

Day 3

Dangriga

At 8:30am, we leave your hotel to visit the mayan ruins of Joya de Ceren, the Pompeii of America. It´s a maya Village that was covered by ash from a nearby volcano and preserved for centuries until 1977. Then we follow the road with nice views for valleys and volcanos. We reach Izalco town with a very interesting history, founded by the Spanish, continue to Nahuizalco, famous for its handicraft, then in Salcoatitán we stop to enjoy one of the local dishes made with yucca. We reach Ataco and free time to explore the town.

Day 4

Copan Ruinas

Archaeological Exploration at Site Museum Ruines de Copan. After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to see and learn how coffee is produced, After We continue to the north border Guatemala/Honduras arriving at mid afternoon, free time to lunch and explore the village. Copan did grow a after the ruins were discover, now is a must, to all visitors of the Region. Overnight

Day 5

Guatemala City

After breakfast, your guide will take you to visit the UNESCO site Copan ruins, and the Museum ( If time available you can ask for las Sepulturas, a residential area of the Copan ruins ). The vestiges of the city and imposing public plazas, reveal 3 main periods of development before the city was abandon early IX AC century. Free time to lunch and continue to Santa Ana in El Salvador to take the bus to Guatemala – Antigua Overnight at hotel.

Day 6

Antigua

Eco Tour. Free day at leisure. Discover Antigua Guatemala on your own, walk its cobbled streets full of history, look for the traditional markets, colonial buildings. Once the capital of central America for over 200 years, and the place of the independence of Central America was signed from Spain. Bring your camara, as this town holds many places to take the best photos for Instagram for your album.

Day 7

Antigua

Today you have a free day, you can have the optional tour to Chichicastenango and Panajachel. There you will visit the Church of St. Thomas on top of a Maya Pyramid and the famous outdoor market where you will find crafts, pottery and textiles of the most varied shapes and colors. During the afternoon you will visit one of most beautiful lakes in the world lake Atitlan. Return to Antigua Guatemala. Overnight

Day 8

Antigua

Breakfast, and free morning. Room available until noon. Airport transfer 4 hours before departure. Must take flights in the mid day-afternoon
