What your day looks like
Visit the Abu Simbel Temples on a day trip from Cairo. Enjoy a private pickup from your hotel in Cairo for your transfer to Cairo Airport. Take a pre-booked flight to Aswan Airport, where you will meet your local driver to begin your adventure to the Abu Simbel Temples. Visit the most important temples in Aswan, which belonged to the greatest king in ancient history, and learn all about the history of how these temples came to be. After your tour, you will be transferred back to Aswan airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arriving back at Cairo airport, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel.

Your day, step by step
Day 1
Cairo
According the arranged pick up time, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and transfer you to Cairo airport to take the flight to Aswan. Upon arriving to Aswan airport and outside the main gate of the arrival terminal, your tour guide will be waiting to pick you up and transfer you to Abu Simbel temples. The flight takes around 1.5 hours, and the transfer from Airport to Abu Simbel temples takes around 3 hours by a private A/C car.

Sightseeing at Abu Simbel Temples. Upon Arriving to Abu Simbel temple you will be guided there for 3 hours to Explore the magnificent complex of Abu Simbel temples. You will visit the main temple of the great king Ramses II and your Guide will tell you how the ancient Egyptian carved that temple in the rocks. Later they will describe how they moved many 100s tons of sand after the discovery, to protect it from the flood of the Nile by moving it up and building the high dam. When you view the statue of Ramses II your guide will explain the mystery of the sun rising on the face of the statue on 2 different Dates. Then you will visit the greatest present ever offered from a husband to his wife, the temple of the queen Nefertari. This temple was built by Ramses to be given to his Lovely Wife.

After the visit you will be taken back by your private van to Airport to take the flight back to Cairo, upon arriving to Cairo airport, you will be picked up and transferred to Your Hotel.
