Welcome to this trip! Our Egypt Gift Tours representative will pick you up from 4:00 to 5:30 am (subject to flight schedule) at your hotel in Cairo or Giza in an air-conditioned car where you will head to Cairo Airport to take the one hour flight to Luxor.

Archaeological Exploration. Start you day tour by driving to the west bank to visit the magnificent Valley of the Kings, original burial site of the boy King Tutankhamun; where the royal tombs from the New Kingdom were discovered carved deep into the desert rock.

Sightseeing. See decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the Pharaohs. Here you will also have the option to explore the tomb of King Tutankhamun

Local Flavor. Proceed to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut; this is a mortuary temple with a unique design as it is the only temple in Egypt built in terrace formation into the cliff face. Hatshepsut was a famous female pharaoh who reigned for about 20 years as one of Egypt’s most successful rulers and wore a false beard and all the trappings of male pharaohs in order to claim the throne for herself. Listen to her exciting story and know how she succeeded to rule as a sole female pharaoh.
