In the morning, your tour guide will pick you up to start your tour to the Egyptian museum, while en route to downtown, your expert guide will share fascinating insights into Ancient Egyptian history. The museum was built in 1901 by the French Egyptologist August Mariette, it has more than 120,000 Masterpieces, a magical pharaonic collection, and some Greco-Roman artifacts, the museum contains an extensive collection of papyri, jewelry, and sarcophagi, also see the amazing collection of King Tut Ankh Amun, includes his musk and his innermost sarcophagus which made out of pure gold inlaid with precious stones. Lunch will be in one of the local restaurants with amazing views. After lunch, you will visit the Citadel of Salah El Din, one of the Islamic monuments, which is completely different from all the Pharaonic monuments you already visited, Salah Eldin built it to be a military base to face the Crusaders in the year 1183 AD., inside the fortress, you will visit Mohamed Ali alabaster fascinating mosque. After, you will drive to visit Old Cairo to visit the Abu Sirga Church (St. Sergius), the Hanging Church, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to visit a trusted Governmental Papyrus institute to see how they make naturally painted papers from the stem of that sacred papyrus plant. And a factory of pure oils used in Aromatherapy. Any or all of these experiences can be added at no extra cost and are personalized according to your preference.
