Transportation at Tahrir Square - Cairo. Day 1: Arrive Cairo and Overnight at Cairo or Giza hotel: Welcome to Egypt's capital! You'll be met on arrival at Cairo airport by our driver who will be waiting for you outside the exit gate holding a sign with your name to be transferred to your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Then the rest of the day is free at your leisure. If your flight lands early, then you could take a first look at the pyramids with an amazing sound and light show (optional), or perhaps head into downtown Cairo for a Nile dinner cruise and show (optional).

Archaeological Exploration at Saqqara. Day 2: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Saqqara Day Tour Saqqara Complex: After breakfast to start your full day tour to the pyramids of Giza and Saqqara with your Egyptology tour guide. Start in chronological order, as it were, by visiting the step pyramid of Saqqara; the first capital of ancient Egypt. This is the oldest pyramid in Egypt 4800 B.C; built by King Djoser, before exploring the famous pyramids at Giza.

Stop for lunch break (optional) then, continue visiting the Giza Plateau to explore the world famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Myrcenes and Sphinx; these structures that have stood tall for 4500 years. Discover the beauty of the Sphinx, one of the largest monolith statues in the history of mankind. Enjoy the views and take remarkable pictures. You'll find your local Egyptology guide a wealth of knowledge and full of enthusiasm about Egyptian history, and their country in general. at the end of the day, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo or Giza for overnight.

Transportation. Once in Aswan airport, pick your luggage and go outside through the exit door, where our licensed tour guide will meet you to be transferred by A/C car to your 5 stars Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. Have lunch on board.

Local Flavor at Aswan Dam. Aswan High Dam: Then, start your tour around 2 pm by visiting the High Dam; achieved in 1960 to protect Egypt from the flood and generate electric.

Archaeological Exploration at Philae temple complex. Philae Temple: Proceed to visit the Greco Roman Temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there. Later on, return back to your cruise for Dinner, folkloric show, and Overnight in Aswan. Note: If your arrival to Aswan is so early, so we might start the tour direct upon arrival since the cruise check-in time at 12:00 and we don’t want our guest to waste their time waiting at the lobby for check-in.

Day 4: Abu Simbel Trip (Sharing a group in a bus or mini-bus), Sailing and Kom Ombo Temple Around 4 to 4:30 am, your guide will pick you up for Abu Simbel trip ( sharing a small group). Drive for about 3 to 4 hours and arrive around 8 am, to visit one of the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel with their unique design built for King Ramesses 2nd. and his beloved Queen Nefertari. This amazing site was completely dismantled and rebuilt when Lake Nasser was flooded.

Archaeological Exploration at Temple Of Kom Ombo. Kom Ombo Temple: Back to the Cruise (around 2 to 2:30 pm) to have your lunch and sailing heading to Kom Ombo city, where to visit the amazing temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to two gods: Horus (the falcon god) and Sobek (the crocodile god). Also, you will get to visit the Crocodile Museum. Get back to the cruise and have dinner. Continue sailing to Edfu for overnight.

Day 5: Edfu Temple by Horse and Carriage, Arrive Luxor and visit Luxor Temple Edfu Temple: Around 4:30 to 5:00 am, enjoy Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise to have your breakfast and start sailing. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the beautiful scenery of the Nile river while sailing to Luxor. Cross Esna Lock, lunch on board and afternoon tea on the sundeck.

Local Flavor. Late in the afternoon, arrive Luxor; built on and around the ancient site of Thebes, and has the greatest concentration of ancient ruins in the Nile Valley, if not the world. Across the Nile lies the City of the Dead, with its mortuary temples and rock carved tombs. To the east stand the Temples of Luxor and Karnak.

If the boat arrives between 3 to 3:30 pm, you might have a chance to visit both Karnak and Luxor temples but if it arrives a bit later, then we might visit Luxor Temple which is in the center of town and is colorfully lit up by night and where ancient Egyptian, Christian and Islamic features are exhibited. Dinner on board and belly dancing show. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 6: Luxor Highlights, flight back to Cairo and Overnight at Cairo or Giza Hotel Valley of the Kings: Breakfast and check out at 8 am to start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the new kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.

Archaeological Exploration at Karnak Temple. Continue to visit the massive temple of Karnak. It was linked to the town of Luxor by a long sphinx lined avenue. Inside the large courtyard are three temples. The much photographed Hypo-style Hall has an impressive 134 towering columns, each is carved with scenes of gods and pharaohs, and hieroglyphic inscriptions cover the walls.

Day 7: Optional Tour to the Egyptian Museum, Coptic Cairo and Cairo Citadel, Departure transfer This morning have your breakfast and check out around 8 am, then meet your guide to start your day tour (optional) to the Egyptian Museum; home to the fantastic Tutankhamun exhibit, see his golden mask and many of the New Kingdom royal mummies, lose yourself in the many rooms and galleries full of thousands of artifacts. Have lunch at a local restaurant (optional) before exploring some of the most famous churches in Cairo. Travel to the Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr. Both these churches were built into the walls of the Babylon Fortress and their remains could be Cairo’s oldest structures. Visit the Church of St Sergius next before driving back to your hotel. Cairo's Khan al-Khalili Bazaar is an essential Egyptian experience – lose yourself in the colors and aromas of this fascinating marketplace or have a chance to visit the famous Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha At Salah Al Din Citadel. (you need to choose either Khan Al Khalil Bazaars or the Citadel) Drive Back in comfort to Cairo Airport to take your flight back home or if you can add extra nights to your time in Cairo, then you have a chance to join any other optional sightseeing tours to Alexandria from Cairo or an overnight White and black desert. Our representative will escort you to the airport for departure according to your flight details.

Prices are quoted in U.S dollars , per person per trip and valid, except during Christmas, New Year and Easter Holidays. If your arrival to Luxor is so early, so we might start the tour direct upon arrival as Cruise check in at 12:00. Sometimes due to sailing conditions on the River Nile, Nile Cruises itineraries schedule and sailing time maybe updated. We assure that our clients will see all what is on their itineraries but maybe in different order. You will need to pay all the entrance fees to the sightseeing mentioned in the itinerary by card except the High Dam and motorboat to Philae temple. If you want to have your own room, then you need to book for a single person. If you are traveling in a group of 3 people, you will enjoy one triple room. If you are traveling in a group and wanted to have your own room, then do a separate booking for a single person. If the trip to Abu Simbel cancelled due to bad weather, you will be refunded with 30$ USD per person. Upon booking, it is very important to provide us with your passports copies required for the cruise line company, Abu Simbel trip permission.
