Day 1

Giza

Sightseeing at Memphis, Egypt. Memphis Visit Start your day tour heading to one of the most important statues in the open air museum of Memphis. Memphis was founded by King Menes and was the Capital of Old Egypt during the Old Kingdom. It was considered to be the center of rule and culture in Egypt for over 3,000 years! Here you'll be able to get your picture with the Statue of Ramses II before being taken to visit Sakkara Necropolis.

Sightseeing at Saqqara. **Saqqara Complex Experience** After exploring Memphis, your guide will take you to the **Saqqara Necropolis**, where you’ll discover the iconic **Step Pyramid of Djoser** and explore key highlights of this vast ancient burial site. Six Steps Pyramid, the main entrance of the Necropolis, and the Pyramid of King Teti. Once you've seen all the highlights of the complex, your tour guide will take you to a local and authentic restaurant where we encourage you to try our local cuisine (Optional ).

Archaeological Exploration at Great Sphinx Of Giza. Next stop on our tour is the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. One of the Seven Wonders of the World and still to this day a riddle. A truly unforgettable experience. The Sphinx is an enigmatic symbol of Egypt.

Cairo

Archaeological Exploration at Great Pyramid of Giza. You’ll have **free time to enter one of the pyramids** (available at an additional cost) if you wish. Enjoy time for shopping, including visits to a **traditional papyrus institute** to see how ancient papyrus is made, and a **perfume factory** to explore authentic Egyptian oils. Afterward, you’ll be comfortably driven back to your hotel.

Sightseeing at The Hanging Church. You will be picked up by your guide to visit the Hanging Church (is named for its location above a gatehouse of Babylon Fortress.)

Archaeological Exploration at Ben Ezra Synagogue. Nearby the Coptic Museum is located Ben Ezra Synagogue, This was the synagogue whose Geniza or storeroom was found in the 19th century to contain a treasure of abandoned Hebrew.

Archaeological Exploration at The Saladin Citadel Of Cairo. Next, you will visit the Citadel of Saladin, which is a fortification in Cairo.

City/Town Tour at Khan el-Khalili. You will then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a walk through the lively **Khan El Khalili Bazaar**. Discover fascinating stories—including how this historic market in Egypt is unexpectedly linked to the founding of the United States. A truly unforgettable experience, after which you will be transferred back to your hotel.
