The Beauty of Egypt's Upper Nile Valley is best appreciated from the deck of a Nile Cruise ship. Enjoy the riverside scenery and discover the ancient wonders of Egypt passing by Pharaonic sites en route between Luxor and Aswan. Explore the highlights of the sightseeing in Luxor and Aswan, two stops on the way to visit the Pharaonic sites of interest such as; Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples. Experience the exciting trip of the Hot Air Balloon in Luxor. Discover one of the most impressive temples in Egypt by visiting Abu Simbel 285 km south of Aswan. Have fun and enjoy plenty of night entertainment of the belly dancing show, galabia party, Nubian show or disco, and more in 4 days/3 night Nile Cruise every Saturday, Monday, or Thursday from Luxor to Aswan. Your day, step by step

Day 1

Luxor

Local Flavor. Welcome to this trip! Egypt Gift Tours licensed tour guide will meet and assist you at Luxor Airport, Railway station or Hotel to be transferred by A/C van to your 5-star Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. Have lunch on board. Then, around 3 pm start your tour by visiting the largest temple ever: Karnak Temple built through 2000 years, covering an area of about 63 acres. Listen carefully to the stories and legends to be told by your tour guide. Marvel at the sheer size of the Great Hypostyle Hall, and take photos between the huge columns and obelisks.

Local Flavor at Luxor Temple. Luxor temple: Proceed to visit Luxor temple, where ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features are exhibited. Admire its obelisk and statues. Back to the cruise, dinner on board, and overnight in Luxor.

Balloon Rides. Balloon Ride: Begin around 5:00 to 5:30 am pick up for the incredible trip of 30 to 45 minutes Hot Air Balloon flight over the west bank of Luxor and enjoy an aerial view of the country’s landscape and famous landmarks. Enjoy the sun illuminating the sky of the open air museum city (Luxor) over the great temples and mountains below.

Archaeological Exploration at Valley Of The Kings. Valley of the Kings: Breakfast and start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis by visiting the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the New kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.

Local Flavor at Mortuary Temple Of Hatshepsut. Mortuary temple: Then to the Mortuary temple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Listen from your guide to her exciting story and how she managed to rule as a sole Pharaoh. End your tour in the West Bank by a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. Return back to the Cruise by noon to have your lunch. Start sailing down the River Nile, afternoon tea on the sundeck.

Accommodation: Overnight in Edfu.

Day 3

Luxor

Carriage Tours at Temple Of Edfu. Temple of Edfu: After your breakfast, enjoy a Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Back to the cruise. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the scenery of the Nile River while sailing to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on the sundeck.

City/Town Tour at Temple Of Kom Ombo. Kom Ombo City: Late in the afternoon, stop at Kom Ombo city where to visit the unique double temple of Sobek, the crocodile God, and Horus, the falcon God. Return to the cruise and have dinner followed by a folkloric party operated by the cruise staff and tour guides. Continue sailing to Aswan for overnight.

Day 4

Local Flavor at Abu Simbel Temples. Abu Simbel: Check out around 4 to 4:30 am, leave your luggage in the cruise reception, and pick up your breakfast box. Then your guide will pick you up for the Abu Simbel trip (sharing a group in a bus or minibus), and drive for about 3 to 4 hours to visit one of the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel with its unique design built for King Ramesses 2nd and his beloved Queen Nefertari.

Boating at Philae. Philae: Get back to Aswan around 2:30 pm to pick your luggage from the cruise and proceed to visit the Greco Roman Temple (Philae Temple) dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there.

-Camera is not allowed on the balloon basket, you can only use your cellphone to take pictures. -A child from 5 to 11 years old accompanied by one adult will be treated as an adult. -A child less than 6 years is not allowed for the balloon trip. If the Hot Air Balloon trip cancelled due to bad weather, you will be refunded with 30USD per person. If the trip to Abu Simbel cancelled due to bad weather, you will be refunded with 30USD per person. It is available to pick travelers from Luxor west bank hotels with extra 10$ USD per person. It is available to drop off travelers at their Hotels in Aswan west bank with extra 10$ USD per person.

If you want to have your own room, then you need to book for a single person. If you are traveling in a group of 3 people, you will enjoy one triple room. If you are traveling in a group and wanted to have your own room, then do a separate booking for a single person. Passports copies are required for the cruise line company, Abu Simbel and Hot air balloon trip permissions. It is available to provide an Italian, Japanese or French tour guide with extra cost
