Visit the Step Pyramid (Built for King Zoser), the world’s oldest major stone structure, in Saqqara, it is considered an important part of the pyramid evolution, which was made from the simple mastaba to its widely known form. This pyramid was built during the reign of the Third Dynasty of Ancient Egypt 4,800 years ago. Also, visit the Tombs of the Nobles in Saqqara and learn more about the daily life of ancient Egyptian noblemen.

This is a famous royal necropolis in Egypt located in the desert on the West Bank of the Nile approximately 40 kilometers (25 mi) south of Cairo. It is known chiefly for many famous pyramids two of which are among the oldest, largest, and best preserved in Egypt, built from 2613–2589 BC; the red and bent Pyramids of King Snefru.

Cairo Citadel: Continue to the Citadel of Salah El Din, built on the famous hill Al Moqattam in Cairo, which was constructed for military purposes, to protect Cairo from incoming threats. Local Flavor at The Hanging Church. Explore churches: Start with a morning pick-up at 9:00 am, exploring some of the most famous churches in Cairo. Travel to the Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr. Both these churches were built into the walls of the Babylon Fortress and their remains could be Cairo’s oldest structures. Visit the Church of St Sergius next before driving back to your hotel.
