On the second day, Take a fascinating tour to Alexandria, The second largest city in Egypt, and enjoy the famous and historical sites in this beautiful coastal city.

Day 1

Cairo

Sightseeing at Great Pyramid of Giza. Visit the Giza pyramids area in an air-conditioned van. The Egyptologist will provide you with all the history of the area, the 9 pyramids of the kings, queens, and princesses, the sphinx, and the valley temple of mummification.

Camel Ride. You will have enough time for photography on different sides and extra options such as entering one of the pyramids or riding a camel around the area.

Sightseeing at Egyptian Museum. The Egyptian Museum in Cairo is one of the largest museums in the world. Your Egypt tours will take you on a 4 hours tour to explore the museum's treasures (opened in 1901). Look at the amazing monuments and artifacts in its different halls in a guided tour. Although the museum has tens of thousands of artifacts in this short tour, your Egyptologist guide will focus on the highlights and masterpieces of the museum.

Sightseeing at Tutankhamun. Visit the Tut Ankh Amun Wing on the first floor and see his wonderful collection of historically important artwork. The treasures are mainly golden and they cover a quite large section of the museum. This area of the museum includes significant statues, furniture, and gold sculptures. After enjoying the guided part of the tour, take some free time to browse the museum.

Sightseeing at Khan el-Khalili. Enjoy some free time at Khan El Khalili, the biggest market in Cairo. In Khan el Khalili bazaar, you will enjoy strolling through the maze of streets and bargain for a souvenir of your trip to Egypt.

Sightseeing at Catacombs Of Kom El Shoqafa. Our first stop in this historic city is the catacombs of Kom ash-Shuqqafa, a Roman burial site whose family tomb reveals the merging of Egyptian and Roman art and architecture. Descend below ground to visit the tomb and Caracalla Hall.

Alexandria

Sightseeing at Library of Alexandria. You will visit the famous Alexandria Library. In contrast to the ancient architecture found throughout Egypt, the Norwegian-designed building is a striking piece of modern design. A copy of every book published in the world is kept in the library, making it one of the great literary sites in the world. The library also houses several exhibitions relating to the history of Egypt and a display of rare antique books.

Sightseeing at Citadel Of Qaitbay. The next site your guide will show you is the fort of Qaitbay, built-in 1477 to protect the eastern side of the city. the fort was built in the same location as the great lighthouse of Alexandria.
