Detailed Itinerary
The journey, in full
The excursion starts at 8 am from your hotel. Meet your guide and board a vehicle heading south of Quito and towards Cotopaxi National Park. On the way, you will enjoy beautiful views of the Andes and gorgeous natural scenery. Once you reach the National Park, you will visit the Interpretation Center and Limpiopungo lagoon. Take a short hike in the surroundings of Limpiopungo valley. The 2-hour hike goes from 3890 meters to 4500 meters to have a nice view of some volcanoes when it is clear. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant that offers typical Ecuadorian dishes, then return to Quito and be dropped off at your hotel.
