Ziplines + Monkeyland
What your day looks like
This exhilarating adventure takes you flying across the magnificent valley of the Monkey Jungle Estate. Your naturalist guides will show you the way, helping you make the most of the adventure and unlocking the secrets of the region. After a 45-minute drive onboard your safari truck transportation, you will enter a whole new dimension of entertainment. After arriving at our Welcome Center, our expert zip line Guides will teach you all you need to know about the ride and the equipment during the safety briefing. From there, you will walk along one of the property roads and garden trails for about 5 minutes, until you reach the first zip line platform. You will be safely attached with climbing gear to the cables, with the longest one being 800 feet long! Your tour consists of seven zip lines, for a total of 4,200 feet of cable, two suspension bridges, and a controlled descent of 54 feet. Our Zip Line Tour was built with double steel cables, with a traversing system on a steel pulley with a manual breaking system only when needed. Most cables are calibrated with the necessary speed to fly and enjoy, so just zip from platform to platform and swing through the air with a privileged bird's eye view of the lush, tropical vegetation of the El Choco region. The zip line adventure at Monkey Jungle is a part of the benevolent foundation Monkey Jungle, which dedicates itself to offering free dental and medical care to the poor inhabitants of the different rural areas in the region. Apart from the free services, they also supply terminal patients with food and daily medicines. At the end of the tour, fresh fruits will be served and you will have adequate time to purchase a special souvenir for this unique adventure.
