The guide Ruddy was fantastic!!! Ziplining was a lot more work than I thought it would be, but I did enjoy myself. The monkeys were great, we all wanted to take them home. We would love to come back.

Although there was a bit too much downtime of waiting, it was a great excursion! Transportation was a great perk and Carlos was a wonderful guide. He kept everyone organized, provided good information and lots of laughs too. Zip lining wasn’t for the faint of heart, so be prepared and drink water throughout the course. The monkeys were amazing and not to be missed! The coffee & cocoa was more of a sales pitch compared to learning about the process, but still okay.

Our guide Gregory was kind and funny. He provided valuable information about the history of the Dominican Republic during our ride to ziplining. 4 of the 6 of us ziplined and 2 of us hung out at the welcome center. The welcome center provides breathtaking views of the vast landscape and the whole experience lasted about an hour. Our zipliners said the views were amazing and the longest run was 1/2 mile long over a river...wow! Then we walked to lunch, where we were provided an authentic Dominican lunch. My kids loved that there were little cats walking around greeting us while we ate. Monkey Land was next and my oh my was it unforgettable. these cute little 2 pound squirrel monkeys just hang out on you (on top of our heads, on our shoulders, whereever they land from the trees above). The staff provided us 2 different locations to visit with the monkeys and gave us several rounds of food. We decided to forego taking our own pictures so we could just enjoy the experience. We instead paid for the pictures $40 for all of the pictures they took of all of us. We did the same for the ziplining. For us it was well worth the money. Lastly, we walked to the Coconut house where we learned how hot chocolate and coffee were made from scratch and we were able to taste test. We definitely got our moneys worth. The bus was air conditioned, so that felt good on the way home.

Fun adventure day: seeing the Dominican towns, remarkably safe and gorgeous zip line tracks, picturesque mountains, enjoying local food, silly monkeys, and learning about their resources. Plus our tour guide, Ruddy, made the travel speed by with his humor and knowledge. Be ready for a long day as it is slowed by waiting for other groups to best manage transportation.

From the moment we got on our bus, to the moment we were dropped off at our resort, we felt so welcomed and had so much fun. It was so cool to experience the monkeys jumping all around us, getting to taste test different products at the plantation, and to zip line through the mountains. It was very evident that the workers knew what they were doing and made sure we were safe and having fun. Our guide was super great at giving us details about the history and what it is like to live in Punta Cana, and our ride back in the safari bus was nothing but a good time. We couldn't recommend this enough!
