Whale Watching Adventure From Punta Cana w/ Cayo Levantado & Lunch

After an early pick-up from your hotel in Punta Cana (from 6:30 till 7:30 am depending on the hotel) and a convenient stop in a meeting point to organize the transportation, we’ll move on a brand-new bus to the small village of Las Canitas, close to Sabana de la Mar. The ride takes around 1.5 hours thanks to the new Miches highway and on the way, you’ll have the chance the enjoy great views of the Dominican countryside and the East Coast while the guide will give information about the life and local customs of the Dominicans. After reaching Las Canitas, you will be welcomed by the local people and you can have some time to relax after the bus ride. Let the adventure begin! It's time to get on board our boat to ride through the beautiful Samana Bay, home of the Humpback Whales. The boat will reach the "Sanctuary" in the middle of the bay and for around 45 minutes you´ll have the chance to observe humpback whales in their natural environment. Make sure you have your phone ready to take many pictures! This is a truly lifetime experience! At this time of the day, you'll probably start getting hungry. Don't worry! It's already lunchtime! We'll fill our bellies with a delicious traditional Dominican lunch complete with rice, beans, meat, salad, fresh fruit and coffee to finish. Drinks are included too! Take advantage of the open bar with rum, soft drinks and water. While the morning has been dedicated to the adventure, the afternoon will be focused on relaxing at the gorgeous island of Cayo Levantado, also known as Bacardi Island. You will be impressed by the beautiful landscapes of the peninsula. Once on the island, prepare to experience the white sandy beaches and the warm turquoise water of this unique and relaxing place. There, you can explore the island, swim, take pictures, or simply relax and enjoy a good cocktail on the beach of this lost paradise. After around 1.5 hours spent at the island, from here we'll start to make our way back to Punta Cana, where you'll have plenty of time to recall this wonderful experience.
