Take a thrilling, “low to the ground” buggy adventure to see a stunning view of Macao beach and stop for a swim in the gorgeous blue waters. Stop in a typical Dominican house to see how they make cocoa and coffee. Speed down the path to an ancient cave, exploring and swimming in the cave’s natural pool. What to Bring
Bring swimwear, outdoor clothes, closed shoes (recommended for drivers), bandanna, sunglasses, sunscreen, repellent, extra money for tips and souvenirs
Restrictions
All buggies have an automatic transmission, so there’s no need to shift. These are banged up buggies that are fun to drive but may break down during the run on Macao’s rugged back roads. Furthermore, they are not built for comfort, instead to get muddy. Mechanics follow the group at all times in case of any malfunction. Driver must be 18 years old (minimum). There is no age restrictions on being a passenger. Not advised for the old and young since the ride is rough and bumpy. Zigzag or passing other buggies is not allowed for safety reasons. Do not go in the water if you do not know how to swim. Tour develops through public roads/places. Don't leave any unattended item at all time. No recommended for pregnant travelers. No recommended for travelers with back problems. Bring swimwear, outdoor clothes, closed shoes (recommended for drivers), bandanna, sunglasses.

Enjoyed the tour - Great price and accommodating for small children (ages 4 & 7). The last stop at the beach was beautiful, but very touristy of vendors trying to sell you jewelry and pictures with animals. Was beautiful, but not very relaxing as they were persistent. Tour guides were great.

The actual tour was lots of fun. We were two couples and one has done this same tour twice before. This issue came up when on our confirmations that we took with us it stated we were to meet at the security gate, which as per employees it is about a mile away. Golf carts at resort were not available, we walked and waited at gate. End was transfer was waiting for us at resort, not gate. They gave up waiting and we just happen to see them when they were leaving resort. Also the confirmation we had states Included water, snacks , Beverage, mineral water. When we asked for water they wanted to charge us. They said we were not VIP Buggies. etc etc. Isaid so put us on a VIP cart. They just smiled they could not. So just think confirmations should be clearer.

Seemed like very little "off road" driving and had to follow in single file the entire time, going slowly. It did take us to beautiful beach, but could only stay there about 15 minutes. Next time, I'll just take a taxi to that beach and spend the day there.

The guides were great and the cave experience was cool. However, we were disappointed that the buggy ride seemed short as we spent quite a bit of time stopping and getting started again.
