Our adventure begins in the “Catedral San Pedro Apostol”, a beautiful church built in the Neo-classical style with beautiful stained glass, whose tower is visible from all parts of the city. We continue to the nearby Macorix Cigars Co. a traditional manufacturer of quality cigars. A stroll through Central Park, a handicraft shop in the village center, a tour of the old town and the beautiful seafront boulevard complete the experience within the city. Outside the city, we have a chance of a panoramic view of a sugar mill and a baseball field. We will complete the visit with the extraordinary Ron Barceló Historical Center, where you can smell, see, taste and feel the true essence of the Dominican Rum and appreciate the quality of Barceló Rum: the aging cellars, barrels workshops, museum and shop, where you can taste and purchase excellent products and promotional merchandise.
