What travelers are saying
We have been staying in the VIP lounges for the past several years. I love the Dominican, but I will never waste my money on this lounge again. The food options were very sad, the smell was so strong which left me with a headache and feeling nauseous, and the two ladies that were working there were absolutely miserable. We left the lounge to get to our gate only for it to be delayed right when our bus boarding time was, and ended up spending an additional $70 on airport food and sitting in the just as comfortable airport chairs.
Everything was good
Great experience at the VIP Lounge across from B30! Only disappointment was the limited mixed drink selection that is included with pass (premium options available for $15/drink).
Excellent
Got there late morning. Breakfast items were pretty much picked over and not much to choose from except bread and a muffin.
Purchased the “Salon VIP” Lounge in Terminal A, at Punta Cana for £32 ($50). It promises so much, but delivers very little. You are greeted at the reception desk with a list of rules…. The first being you have only 2 hours, you are only allowed 2 alcoholic drinks free (you have to pay $6 per drink after that). The area is pretty small and although not busy when I was in, could quickly become crowded if there were more people flying. Food wise, a small selection of fruits (all cut up), selection of rather dry small sandwiches. Some different cheeses and around 6 different small cakes. This is definitely not worth the money, especially when the airport has a much larger selection of food stand and bars, which if you ate and drank, would probably be cheaper.
Lovely place to wait for your flight. A couple drinks and food
They just redid the VIP lounge at the Punta Cana airport. It is absolutely awesome pool food was good. Drinks were good.
