What your day looks like
Puerto Plata with its charms invites you to know the 27 waterfalls of Damajagua (27 Charcos), and the zip line discovered just a few years ago and submerged in the beautiful hills of the northern mountain range, this natural monument is part of the system of protected areas of Dominican Republic. 27 Cascadas is hidden in a tropical canyon and is a chain of waterfalls that you can hike and slide down, swim under, and jump on your way back down. You will be led by a tour guide who will help you make sure you jump from safe places, it could explain some of the history of these beautiful waterfalls, some of which have ancient legends that come from the Taino Indians who first discovered this gem, and from my experience it will only make the adventure even more fun.

Detailed Itinerary
The journey, in full
A 30-minute hike through the rainforest leads to the first zip line, where the fun begins. Enjoy the adrenaline rush of 5 zip lines over waterfalls, rainforest, and spectacular views, plus 2 rope bridges to descend to the 7th waterfall. Here, we begin to cascade as you slide, jump, and swim through incredible waterfalls, natural pools, and spectacular canyons. On the way back to base camp, we will enjoy a delicious Dominican lunch (suitable for vegetarians), and water, and then return to the transport to take you to the port or your destination.
