Eating Copenhagen Food Tour: More than Smørrebrød
What your day looks like
Copenhagen has always known how to eat well. This 3-hour small group food tour takes you across two of the city's most character-rich neighbourhoods, beginning in the polished harbour district of Nyhavn and crossing the iconic pedestrian bridge into Christianshavn, where canals, cobblestones, and a very serious food scene await. Five stops, each one a chapter in Denmark's culinary story - from the craftsmanship of modern smørrebrød at one of the city's most acclaimed addresses, to chef-driven street food shaped by the New Nordic revolution, to a bowl of reinvented Nordic comfort food, a beloved street classic with serious heritage, and a warm cardamom bun at a neighbourhood bakery that has been feeding Copenhageners for decades. Morning guests enjoy a sparkling or still water pairing; evening guests add a wine pairing to the mix. Your small group guide knows the stories behind every bite: the chefs, the history, the why. Book your spot and come hungry.
